Nicaragua SHG

This Nicaragua coffee is a harmonious blend of nutty almond, crisp green apple, and the golden sweetness of raw honey. Each sip will transport you to your "coffee happy place" and may even make you want to dance. (Disclaimer: While delicious, this coffee will not make you better at dancing, but it's worth a shot!)

This offering is strictly high grown (SHG). Coffees receiving the SHG designation must be grown at an altitude of 1,200 meters or higher. What does that mean for your daily cup of coffee, though? The higher the altitude and the lower the temperatures allow the fruit (yes, coffee comes from a fruit) to mature more slowly, creating a dense coffee "bean" that oftentimes provides more rich, desirable flavors.
